1) Did you ever hit the relight (little sun icon)? Your very-low y (elev) values (third column) as well as the roughness of the screenshot suggest you didn't.

2) You didn't by any chance save your work did you? Normally Wilbur clobbers your data so that you'd never be able to recover it, but if you save expressly as a MTED dte, and double-check each time, you'll be able to save your data.

3) Planck, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought WRPedit required that the data be truncated to three decimal places instead of the normal 4. WRPtool I know doesn't care.

4) Your node count looked a bit weird. Ie, whats with a 508x508 grid? iirc, maps have to be a power of 2 for cell count, like BIS islands are 256x256, Tonal is 512x512, WRPquad is 1024x1024, and my as-yet-unreleased mess is 2048x2048.

Hope this helps.

Well, I don't know how you managed it but, your data was 255 X 255 instead of 256 X 256.

However, I managed to get it into WprEdit OK.

I set the initial default terrain flags,and also the env snd flags.   The terrain has been given a nice sand texture to start you off in.

I cannot post it here, size is too big.

Post your email address and I will send it back to you.

btw ......shinRaiden, I don't know about WrpEdits requirements as far as decimal places is concerned, but,  I have always just assumed it was 2 decimal places, its what I always used anyway.  I always though it just truncated any extra decimal places.

Ok, I couldn't remember off the top of my head what I thought I saw in my copy of the OJR tut at home.

That 255x255 makes sense now, but how come all the node steppings were incremented by two? That looked screwy.

Yes the X2 stepping confused me for a minute or two also, but, I realised that if the file was really 508 X 508 it would have been a LOT bigger than it was.

Anyway, still waiting for an email address here AT.

@At.St._Walker

I still have your sorted lon/lat text file converted to a .wrp file sitting here on my hard drive.

Please indicate if you want it or not, if not I will delete it.
