BEta rar files

Okie trying to update my 1.91 official patch to the newest versions i think its 1.96 or something. I keep getting beta patches with .rar files and i dunno what to do with them. COuld you either tell me where to get official patches with zip files that will install them automatically or can you tell me what to do with the .rar files

I wasn't aware that the official game patches were released in RAR format.  I was sure they were released in ZIP format.

Anyway......try here for the 1.96 Release Candidate.

okie dookie i did it and it said taht the update was succesful but when i went into the game the version was still 1.91 and in the multiplplayer screen it said that they were all like 1.95/6 games and i couldn't play on them please help!! i wana play in multiplayer games

ok sos i was bein retarded, its working now.
Why are all the multiplayer games locked?? It may be an easy question to answer but humour me please! i just wanna be able to play multi, thanks

hey dood.. what ya need to do is look in your ofp directory and find the

FLASHPOINTBETA.EXE

and run that one not the original shortcut you have

Good point Kaliyuga, however, if he downloaded the 1.96 release candidate, it does in fact replace the game exe.

So his shortcut should still have run the game as version 1.96.

Wonder which he downloaded then.....the beta or the release candidate?

I downloaded the release canidate from the link on this page. All the games are still locked even though i run the flashpointbeta exe. Im really confused, are they private games??

If you installed the release candidate then you don't need to run the flashpointbeta.exe as it will have updated your normal exe file to 1.96.

However......onto the multiplayer games.....

Do you mean multiplayer games you find on the internet are locked?

If so, then they will be locked or passworded games.
But there should be plenty of servers where the games are not locked or passworded.
