how instantly change side of unit ?

hi , i need to change side of unit , in order to avoid to write many paralellle action for targeting and firing.

Tell us more about the circumstances and we may be able to figure out a workaround.

I don't think you can change the side of a unit once the mission has started.

Say you are a west guy in your own group "groupie", couldn't you just spawn a east guy who is a LT. and via script join and lead group "groupie". Then the east guy would have control over the "converted" west guy right?
