Ending a mission via Waypoint

I just had an uber idea. A waypoint is not activated unless it is the first in a series, or the previous has been completed. It would be so EASY to set objectives IF you could end the mission with a waypoint.

I know some of you wouldn't like this because it would mean one-way missions, but on the particular mission i'm on now, there is only one way to end it.

I don't know what forceEnd mission does, but I've been told it is nasty and not to be messed with. Is there another way I could end a mission upon a player getting to/accomplishing a waypoint?

This would be SO handy...

You can always use a variable to activate an end trigger. type in the wp's on activation field: end = true    then place an end trigger and type in it's condition field: end

'End' in the condition field, or 'End' for the trigger's name?

Well, whatever the answer, I suppose it has the same effect to what I wanted, right?

I just fiddled around with the idea, and I ca't get the trigger to work properly. I set it to 'Not Present' but it is still activating when im within range.

Did you select the right side for it's activation. Meaning if your West and the trigger is activated by East not present..

Remember that if you use a waypoint to end the mission the mission will be unplayable in Veteran mode and you should put a note in the Overview and readme (and probably the Briefing too, for safety) to this effect.

Triggers are much better, once you get the hang of them.  ;)
