Applying mass to model?
« on: 21 Mar 2004, 13:17:14 »
Help Help Help!!!
I started to makeƂ'my own "trench section" yesterday, but since my O2 skills are very low, I was setting around some vertexes for hours, 'til now. Ok then, the faces are created so the model is not invisible any more.  But now the problem is: I can't apply the mass, it just doesn't work ingame!
That's what I did:
1.) I made a new LOD, property "Geometry LOD"
2.) copied the "old" vertexes into it
3.) applied mass, all together 25000 kilos or so.

But when I set it in OFP I can walk right through it and when I let it fly in the air it doesn't fall down!
(the only thing I could have imagined is that I didn't make several selections first, but my current versions have some and it still doesn't work!)

What shall I do?

Do a search for GeoLOD, follow the instructions. Questions on how to fix GeoLODs have been answered 1 million times here.  ::) ;D

OK then, Leone is right....
And for anyone who has the same problem:
Be sure the face in the Geometry LOD is facing the right direction! (I could kill myself... :-[)
