Cannot continue
« on: 16 Mar 2004, 20:45:20 »
Whenever I try to continue a mission, from campaign or single mission, the game crashes back to the desktop, showing the following error message:

cannot load 'Users\Alan\Saved\Campaigns\resistance\continue.fps'. Error 'No Entry' at '/Gamestate/Variables/Item4/data.value'.

I am running ECP v1.071, OpFlash v1.96 BETA. It happens even without the ECP, but the error message does not show. Also, whenever I exit the game my background is grey. Please Help!

And by the way, does anyone have a PAL version copy of Perfect Dark or Conker's Bad Fur Day for Nintendo 64?

Hey there  !

AFAIK this is due to the good ol' savegame bug. You might also want to check this.

You're not the only one, dude, if that can cheer you up.

As to a fix...

Ig.

EDIT : I can't help feeling uncomfortable with your pseudo, and I just had to say it :(

Indeed! :hmm:

...Anyway, if you're using the development version of ECP you might get the same CTD issue, as well as the hand gun displaced/abnormal animation behaviour, which are caused by the config.cpp configuration format. You must compile config.cpp into config.bin (Amalfi's cpp2bin is perfect) in order to avoid such bugs. Yet, if you're not running the ECP mod, then download the new OFP patches - that are supposed to prevent many CTD problems.
