Spawn C130.....
« on: 16 Sep 2002, 18:26:01 »
Hi guys ;)........been a long time since I came to this forum, well I changed my name actually, got some password probs after installing a 40GB harddisk and reformating the system.....phew, anyway I was BlackStalk the last time remember? Anyways, here's my question.....how do you respawn a plane after calling a trig...for example, I've paradropped a team of Marines :gunman: from a C130 and took out an enemy base as the first objective...well, after that, me, as the leader of my group, will have to radio for the extra supplies and men and that the objective is completed. I've gone through all that easily but here's where I'm stuck! :help: I can't get another C130 to spawn on another location and fly in my coords and drop those supplies.......anybody know how to do that? :hmm: I could have a choice of having the plane circling on a set of wpts until I radioed for the supplies and have it follow on a new set of wpts towards my coords(I think...). But even if it would happen, I still dunno how to do that...........anybody wanna share some thoughts on this? ???

Create it in the corner of the map.  And give it a WP right at its start position.  Then give it Wps to your base location and all the required things for the supply drop.

Then you can sync your radio trigger to the WP at its start position.

The 130 will circle around its start postion until you radio in and it will then move along its WPs to the drop.

Wow! Thats pretty fast and straight forward for a tough question isn't it? (Well its tough for me........)Well I didn't expect it to be so soon, but I appreciate it, really.
Thanks Icarus......I didn't have time to try your theory, but I think I get the picture on how to do it and how it works......thanks again Icarus.. ;D
