"Invisible"-Color
« on: 06 Feb 2004, 14:34:23 »
Hey guys
I have a problem with my new addon:
I retextured the BIS Tokarev T33 and it looks nice.... But the problem is that the BIS model uses a LOD texture and I can't find the color that is "displayed invisible" ingame. The only thing I can imagine is that the programme I work with (Paint Shop Pro 8.0) has adjusted a Layer on the picture...
But I hate it 'cause everytime the camera is too far away from the weapon there's a grey square aroung it....FUCK
Can anybody help me?!?

to make something invisable with textures you'd have to use a texture with an alpha channel, if you want something to be completely invisable it would need to have a 100% alpha texture

Yeah I know that but I used the alpha-color of other textures -exactly the same color- and it didn't work. If I have to apply a special thing for it, please tell me how to do that...
