Just take a normal picture of say a patch of grass then make sure the image is 64x64, 128x128, 256x256 ect and then save it as a GIF,  simple as that my friend  ;D

Ok, I made some landtextures. How can I get them to wrp editor? Do I need some programs to pack my textures or something? Or do I just deed to put them into some folder?

(Sorry about all my n00b questons. I'll post some pictures about my n00b textures when I get them into my map, so everyone gets a good laugh.)

After hard working, I was able to put my 2 textures to the wrp editor.

The first one is supposed to look like a bombed pavement thing (I planned to use the hole thing in middle of it as space for fountain.), and the second one is just grass with few holes in it made by grenades.

I must admit that I was actually pretty suprise by their quality. These are only the first versions of my textures... but WOW! They even look like something.

I am planning to make an ww2 era map with bombed out villages... if some ww2mod is interested about my textures or my plans to make a map... please, mail me at jerrayeaa@jippii.fi

(Please, take a look at the attached file)

Feel free to write comments about them.
