Need knock-out gas for stealth missions

Basically, I need a silent grenade to knock out a number of troops quietly. I think this would be a good idea, but I'm no good at addons. Please reply if you can produce.       Thanks   Dustin

This would be usefull..
Like a grenade, but no explosion (People have made replacement greandes, like the INQ_Weaponpack)..
Maybe that crossed with a smoke grenade, and someway of disabling the AI (What about an anim, am I right in thinking that when someone in an anim they can't fire......... Hope so :))
Hmm, what about a gasmask... :D
Other ideas, a flashbang... Not to usefull.. but you could chuck it at a bunch of enemys, stop them from seeing (Maybe random firing?) and it would make it easier to kill them
It's basicly inpossible to use them for what the sound be use for (In room entry).. but it would be a nice addition :)
(It would use something along the lines of fade from bacl for players, no idea for AI...)

Look for sleep.sqs and wake.sqs scripts that are about somewhere. You could link these with a thrown smoke via a trigger I suppose.

I've forgotten anything I ever knew about the scripting commands, but what you could do is make a smoke grenade, but when it is detonated, using that nearestobject command or something, they do an animation as if they were dead, and you set them to not fire.

How could I work out where the smoke grenade has landed...

I hope I understand your question correctly.  If I knew how, I would use the hand-grenade format.

Hmm, don't think so..
What I need to do is when someone chucks a grenade, it works that out, and gets the position of where it lands, so I can use that in a script...
