Where can I get a .PAA editor which will alllow me to create better overview pics?

Use Texview.....load the relevant .paa into it.......then save it from Texview as .tga.

Load the .tga into your favourite graphics program and edit it how you want.  Then save it again.

When finished, load the .tga back into Texview and resave it as .paa.

yeah and dont forget 2 load/save the alpha channel   when fiddling with the
picture in MS Paint/paintshop/photoshop/XXXratedMoviesShop etc.   ;D

I don't have a package that recognises .Tga. Any workaround that you know of?

This is why I mentioned ALPHA CHANNELS up there, m8  

Ya need to "LOAD from ALPHA channel" when loading a .TGA image converted from PAA/PAC formats.

A "Paint Shop Pro" free-trial-version is avaliable on most discs that comes with PC magazines etc.
Or try the paint shop home page on the net.

PaintShop is like WINZIP - you can try it for free, unlimited time... *cough*  :beat: ;D

Havent tried plancks program up there but if it does the job then its prolly just as fine.

No..........Irfanview will convert his file to .....say......jpg......so he can get it into whatever graphics program he has, then he can use Irfanview to convert back again to tga.

However on reflection, I am not sure if any alpha channels will survive the process.

Might be best to try Tombs suggestion......PaintShop Pro will do the job........its what I use anyway.
