bas MH47 cargo and httw

I tried loading the new marine HTTV vehicle into the BAS MH47 cargo helicopter but it would not let me lock it down as it is not one of the vehicle defined to be able to do so. Is it possible to change it to accept this vehicle for helo transport in the interior of the MH47 Cargo chopper?

  I brought back this thread coz it deserves an answer  

First off, the HTTV should fit the MH cargo if you ask me, since its not
any bigger than a normal jeep/jeepMG (at least not much).

However, there's NO "fake-HTTV" model included in the BAS_MH47E pack,
and thus ya cannot stuff the car up her rump, so to speak.  :-X

  BUT... what you CAN do is this:

open the *PBO file named "bas_cargo" and locate a scroll named... aarh sh*t I forgot...
but its something like bascargo or helicargo or alike...
Then ya need to copy a line and
paste it below in the script as a new line of coding, with class name of a "jeep" changed to "httv" or whatever.

The httv that I have fit the rope sling that is meant for the jeep / jeepMG, so thats fine:
we can transport the httv below the bird, using a cargo sling!

there's one more thing ya need to alter, that is a certain array used to define the size of rope used.
there an array for trucks and one for small & big jeeps as far as I remember.
The HTTV should be included in the "jeep/jeepMG" array.

a HMMWV (cargo sling) instantly from start of mission then plz drop a line about it here!

plainging to include quite a few vehicles of their own creation; which have not been relased; that will be transportable by the Ok  here is a moddifed version of the M47 cargo pbo that will allow u to load the Marine FAV into the back.  I tried to creat a fake FAV, but the best i could do was call up the fake jeep when it's loaded ( but at least u know its there.)

Legal stuff.  this was done as a personal learing excerise...to see if i could do it.  This is not a approved modifcation of BAS's MH47 addon. It is for personal use only, i would make shure and copy the orignal version of the MH47 cargo.pbo and keep it safe.

hmmm even with the addon compresed it's much to big.  I could post the changes to the scripts, and config. I dont know if your intresed, please reply.

P.s.  when u unpbo the addone you can see that BAS is planing to have severl vehicles ,that have not been relased yet , be transpotable by theMH47.  These include the BAS version of the FAV. So great things await us.

hmm sorry for all the confusion at the beging of that post, i dont know quite what happend there.  Hopefully you can understand it.
