How can i setdammage to a unit without spilling blood.

hmm...  you mean without damage textures showing?  

not sure if you can as I think the textures are triggered by damage level automatically  :-\  ... good question though

Yes, nice question, and if what I think is right, this is only really doable if you create a dummy addon with no blood textures (like waaay back in the day when people didn't know how to add them yet  ;D). However, the face and hands of the bugger will still get all splotched.
That is, I guess, unless you give them a custom-made face without blood texture...

And that's all Addons related anyway. (if the above is what you want, look in the tutorials for some help on how to create addons and textures and stuff)

...however, if you only want the unit to lie AS IF being dead, you can do a switchmove. Simply put "unitName switchMove "Animation" someplace. There's a list of SwitchMoves compiled someplace in the Tutorials section (do a search), but some possibilities:

"CombatRunBDead"
"CombatRunBDeadver2"
"CombatDead" / "CombatDeadVer2 / "CombatDeadVer3"

That way, the soldier will lie prone, looking dead, but without blood, and quite unable to move.
