Yeah,

o2 can't import ANY of the file formats it says it can, such as 3DS, ASC and i've never heard of an SDA ???. I think you need 3D Studio Max itself or something!  :-\

I'm in the same situation as u, mate

Not 100% sure, but the model is maybe missing emmmmm.......KS Data or something like that.

I think if you load it into a program called Anim8tor and then export again with 'dummy KS Data' you can then import it into O2.

I hope this helps.

 Plank's right it's KDATA from the .3ds that's missing ...

you can run a .3ds file through anim8or (www.anim8or.com) and add the neccesary data...

you could also go ask the guys at UBISoft how to get the weapons they made into another game ::),

Though somehow I doubt they would be very helpful or appreciative.. lol

There is an option in one of Anim8ors Menus to add 'Dummy K data'.

Ok I found it in anim8or (for people who cant find it it's in options->debug->Dummy 3ds Kdata) i haven't tried it yet but i'm pretty sure that it's gonna work. Thanks Planck!
