A biker yarn:
The true story behind the famous fried chicken chain goes back to the fledging days of the biker gangs in the USA. It appears the influence of the bikers spread to any person, including farm animals, poultry in particular, to take a stand against authority.
Down on one farm in Kentuckey, a farmer's lad had the unsavoury job of beheading chickens in preparation for the local market.
After a chapter of the Hell's Angels swept through the state, poultry from all around decided to take the law into their own hands, and refuse, as it were, to march calmly to the chopping block.
Some, on the farm mentioned above, decided that sit ins and peaceful demonstrations weren't enough as still the slaughter of chickens continued.
Several chickens decided that the only way the plight of the chicken could be resolved would be by foul means.
Led by Rolly rooster these pluckey chickens armed themsleves with baseball bats, chains, and drum sticks.
When the young fella arrived at the slaughter house armed with his trusty axe, he was set upon this feathery flock who beat his a** into the ground.
Battered and bloodied the young fella pointed at Rolly and vowed that one day, even if he became an old man, he'd make all chickens pay.
Rolly, unpeturbed by this threat, tapped the baseball bat he carried into the palm of his wing, and sneered "Oh yea, Saunders. An what d'ya think ya gonna do about it?". The rest of course is history.
