:D Now, that's better   I'll try and explain a few things here, then.

----------------------------------------------------------
First off, a quote
Quote

The chest (on the fat boy) should be more detailed...

...you have to recreate the illumination of the
sun on an object...in this case the chest.

----------------------------------------------------------

:) Right, assuming you're referring to the "helmet guy" up there, allow me to
remind you that it's a BETA ( ! ) pic. of a tweaked p3d model which the colonel is
working on at the moment. He's supposed to end up being the prez (the leader of
the gang) once he's finished - and yes, he will appear more detailled in time.
The klinkster has been pouring TONS of beer down the belly of the d00d  ;D so that
he will turn into a very fat guy - a stunning and original idea if you ask me!
The pic. up there is just a "work in progress" image of the model itself,
the actual skinning will happen later, m8  ;)

Now, about my own units, let's have a looksie on the whole "tattoo" issue  :afro:

-----------------------------------------------------------
One more quote here.
Quote

...I suggest you to go to a tatoos site were there are a lot of images...

...a dragon tatoo in japan style like yakuza all over the body or simply near the shoulder...

-----------------------------------------------------------

Visiting tatoo studios - both in real world and on the net - was the first thing i did  8)

You can see a beta-pic. of the results Details_a.jpg]HERE  :-*

It's not poss. to put individual tattoo's on each arm, as I am using the
very latest "civ 1.75" models (they work different from the "old" soldier models).
Even the neck uses parts from the arms  :P ::) so it's hard to do at all.
Whatever you put on ONE arm will appear on the other arm too.  :-\

Dragons are "out" in the biker world as I know it; the fashion shouts
"celtic" and "viking" styles (along with the good old skulls).  8)

I'll post some more details asap.  :-* thx for the input so far, m8

LMAO DeLiltMon, stunning image & great idea - a "Bischmark" helmet, lol

I'll see if I can persuade the klinkster to add the spike to the helmet; he's the
modelling genie around here, while I'm a tex.d00d; he already made a
german style model (hence pic. above), so it should be poss.
Glad to be of some help, can't wait to see the people of Nogova running and hiding as this lot thunder through their town  ;D

Found one for sale on ebay - pics from all angles, kinda tempted to put a bid in for it  ;)

Little boy why don't try to use another 3d model.Pheraps you can't anyway  when I said detailed please understand that
I am referiing on the textures not to the 3d model and as I can see you have to work hard to make it better.
I know that it is a beta but when you post something you know that a crticism (to improve) (to learn) are the first thing to acccept.
1.So this is a beta ? well ... to improve.
2.the guys you are showing above in the pic are a blue smurfs
with a tatoo on the arms that you put on the blue texture of the sirt.
I think that you need to understand what I am trying to say.
Learn and don't be so closed minded.

I haven't seen an addon worst then this...except the bike.
Sorry but you can make something better.

FOLGORE,--- this bike is damn good quality. model and textures. Now whether this bike is not your style, or your a bullet bike guy..then thats a different story..but dont just fart out vague remarks...

And stop acting like your this MOD god, or the guy who invented 3D modeling, im sure there tons of people here are better than you..except they dont try to TELL everyone about it. How old are you? 15? naah 15 year olds dont behave like that..13?

cheers

I can see that you are even more little pheraps 5?
Do you know reading? if you read it another  time you'll see that I wrote : "except the bike"
Now if you can see quality everywhere it is not my fault.
Accept the fact that this thread is not closed only because the poor quality bikers have got a new 3d model of a motorbike by the great Colonel Klink.
Pheraps before writing you first have to learn how to read.

"EXCEPT THE BIKE"  understood.

I try to give to Tomb little advice because I wrote a rude comment on his work but I said above that I understood that
and so I gave to him just suggestions.
So please read all the topic not only a single bad answer or a single comment.
out.

...Pheraps you can't anyway...

 ;D lol, "littleboy" - I will eat that one as a compliment ( I'm 31 y.o  ::) ;D )

:o :D I WANTED to use the NEW 1.75 models, not the "old" ones  :)

But they're dayum hard to work with, as the p3d uses the textures in a whole new way!
Try and de-pbo a model and you'll see what I mean, matey  :D

Sure, I can make a green dragon, but it will be TWO green dragons...
the celtic style is better off when we're talking sprouted tattoo's,
so to speak. And the blue sweatshirt is a 100% correct (yet home made!) copy of
an actual sweatshirt which I saw in a local bikder store  :o :)

Also, plz note the hair on the chest + the muscle tone/shadows on the other guy's chest.

One of the models I'm using is the 1.75 guy with the brown shirt and
t-shirt....
imagine the time it takes to create a "HARLEY" logo on the custom T-shirt
(see pic. somewhere above); that T-shirt is actuallt TWO different "p3d parts"
which has to fit PERFECTLY, that's quite a job might I say
(with sweat all over my face)  :P  But it will happen!   :)

No reason to get upset, Follymate, I'm listening to yer requests and suggestions,
and will use some of them... if it sticks, that is.

So easy uppie, man!  ;) :-*

Ok ;)
Tomb anyway I know that you want to use those new 1.75 3d modles of a civilian but I think that it would be better using an old 3d MLOD and working on it would be really more simple and could permits you to make different tatoo or details on left and dx arms.
in the end it would be easier to textures it and sincerley I know that civilians models uses a mirror textures way.
so if you paint left arm it will be tha same in the dx arm :)
So if you need help with texturing or editing the 3d model ( I am NOT the God mod maker  as Dead soldier think I am) contact me and I'll help you for what is possible to me do.

:hmm: uuuhm, I was hoping to see a dude or two in those JPG's, Folgore... but nevermind.

:D Tell ya what, why don't you make a biker and send him to me,
then I'll squeeze and tweak him into my "tmcm.cpp" back home, if he rocks!

This way, you can get all the stuff you want - like a dragon tattoo and
a US flag_bandana or whatever (if the spetznast is your choise of model base).

Allthough I don't consider myself as being "old", 31 is old enough for me to
accept bad as well as good feedback, but I must say that I'd rather try and turn
it into constructive help on how to improve the addon than just reading empty
nagging or sky high flame wars  :P :) and I think you're about to reach the
positive turnabout, offering help & all  :-* so it's cool with me, m8

So... show me & the world what you can do with a spetzy! howsabout that?!

I really  would like to accept.
But I am working on this mod already :

O2 Joe World Mod
WW2 Comics Mod
Mars attacks Mod
and also some (2 ) Napoleonic Wars french voltiguer units
;)
You and the world have already seen my addons loving or disgusting them.Sincerley I never had help in making a unit addon from scratch (only Ebud really helped me ) and so it won't happen.
Sorry.

Ok just to clear up any misconception over whether this new addon series is suitable for OFP.
1. We need more civilan type  people and vehicles from the pre and 1985 era.
2. This motorcycle gang, while anti-establishment, do have allegiances to the islands and therefore to the resistance.
3. These dudes will add some colour to anotherwise drab island environment.. (blood red included).
4. Some of these dudes were US Vietnam veterans seeking a different lifestyle
5. Some of these dudes were draft dodgers during the Vietnam war.
6 All of these dudes drink, smoke pot, and enjoy encounters with members of the opposite sex.
7. One of them could be the next US president.  ;D

8. One or more of these guys will get shot... sooner or later  :o ;D

@ folgore: thats ok, m8 - though I don't really get the argument about
no one helped you, so you won't help anyone  ??? ::) bah! nevermind.  ;D
As I said above somewhere: each to his own stuff.

...as long as we'll get to ride those bikes, and we will  8) with a mean gang!

Peace is restored; back to work, klinkster & Tomby!  :joystick:
