what tool did BIS make soldiers with ?
and how they add all the animation and defined the movement for the joints ?

How or, can someone make animals/other biological addons?

Dinosaurs would be cool,
could start doing some tropic island and a serious survival coop... *wink wink* (oh yea theres a smilie for it [doh!])

 ;) ;)

As explained in this thread, BIS used O2 to make all their models, with some parts modeled in 3D Studio MAX.

There is no way for us to create our own animations, so dinosaurs would be out of the question. Unless you would want completely static ones.

Movement for custom built soldiers are defined through selections, all of which are/will be explained at the Flashpoint 1985 forums or in zwadar's tutorial.

They will, however, have the same animations as the soldiers already in the game.

And island request would go in the WrpEdit thread ;)
