An axe would not be any good in OFP, because you wouldn't be able to use it.

It has no ammo.

Actually, there is an addon that features a strike with a bayonet.
It's that OICW gun, I forget where, though.

But I don't think that melee weapons will either be able to work well or be used often in OFP.

OFP2 perhaps?
