i have heard many times of scripts that when activated make an inf put pistol to head and shoot, well i have yet to find one so im wondering if anyone here has one or knows where one *WORKING* is  :-\

Just searched the ed-depot, didn't seem to have one, that's not really suprising tho. It would probably require custom animations.
Get those missions out there you morons!

hmmmm.....the closest i can imagine is to make unit salute and then setdammage...but this wouldn't work with gun in hand i guess. maybe a gun sound could be played with for better illusion of suicide.

Some guy said he actually made the guy solute, with a gun in hand, then pull the trigger . . . can't beat that I guess.

Dunno wtf he didn't release it :S

thats how i first heard of it too, but if it really existed why wasnt it ever posted on any site hosting scripts? or maybe a tutorial showing how to do this?

either the guy never really did it or never thought to post it for others to figure out  :-\

or maybe they planned it to be in a mission so it would be unique to the mission itself and if anyone wanted it they could de-pbo it, who knows.

but it would be Vital to the script for the man to have gun in hand when he suicided because if not what the hell is he? Inspector Gadget? Go - Go - Gadget - Suicide Gun?!

doubt that command will work in OFP lol  ;D

i could easily get a script together to make him salute and then a gun shot go off and he falls dead but how to keep pistol in hand at time he does salute is beyond me... could always make the guy toss a nade on the ground below him but i dont want anything but his brains to be blown out from the suicide  :P

Umm . . . just thought of another idea that would really make the script worth while . . . is to make the guy optionally sitting down while he does all of this.

all U have to do is use the playmove command so U see he dude put the gun to his head (if uts for SP, U can do it yourself) but for the Ai, U would have to use the fire command

I'm sure you can make a dude solute while sitting down . . . thats what the scripts for ;)

Enough of this, can anyone actually do this ? Instead of talking about stuff ?

actually i doubt switchmoves and playmoves will work unless he is in safe or careless mode, and if so then no guns are out so the pistol will NOT be put to his head hence the need for a script to keep it there and make it fire when to his head

To add to the ideas of stances the person can be in while doing the suicide
Standing
Kneeling on left knee
Kneeling on right knee
On bolth knees

Add a handgun to the guy, make a simple anim and use the fire command... Ta da!
