is it posible to get a group of p men into 3 Humvees then follow the lead officer
to a desternation determand in the mission editor.

Yes.

name the vehicles:

humvee01
humvee02
humvee03

you have to assign them at first, each loon where you want:

p1 assignAsDriver humvee01
or
p2 assignAsCargo humvee02
or
....and so on as you wish, then to command them to get In:

[p1,p2,p3,p4,p5] orderGetIn true

now they will enter the vehicles as you assigned them.

About the lead officer they should follow, write some more info about him.
Where he is, is he in one of these humvees or in other vehicle.....?

You can just give the group leader a waypoint to make him go where you want.
