Shared Intel

This may have been discussed before, but what about a script which every friendly unit shares intel on enemy positions.  I'd probably be best used in missions with small force sizes, like Special Forces raids, etc.  Because i'm not a scripter, I wouldn't know how to go about doing this.  Maybe the knowsabout command, or something similar?

well mebbe if ya told some more about yer mission, m8,
then we could make ya a neat workaround & get'cha what'cha want  

I mean the AI could just have WP's set to HOLD by triggers or some condition, so I guess ya need 2 share some more details before we can bring on some solutions

Yes, exactly.  Tomb, I just wanted every west unit to share target locations with every other west unit.

 I'd expect writing some sort of script utilizing the knowsabout and reveal commands would suffice..

 I'm no expert scripter myself so I couldn't give ya any decent example syntax.

 But I'm guessing that something along the lines of

get names of all westunit groups

anywestunit knowsabout anyeast unit > 2

get the id of the west unit

get the id of the east unit

westunit reveal to all westunitgroups

====================================================

I'm sure someone more experienced could come along and fill in all the blanks... or else point out all the flaws..   ;D

but hope this gets ya thinkin on how to get your problem solved at least
