Yup, got that!

Just hope he brings out the next part cause all i'll have is a model.  :(

I'm making an F-22, pretty ambitious for a first attempt, and i wonder if anyone has any pics of it for textures.  :-\

I got a top, side and front pic of it at combatplanes.com but i need pics for textures.

One thought that occured to me was that there might not be any cockpit textures. Then i'd have to use other planes textures which is not what i want.

Hey,

In the Airplane tute, is there a little bug when your building the tail wing?

His screenshots look nothing like mine, and yes, im making the same air-plane as he is.

It's about 1/5th down the part 4 of it.

Plz someone tell me!  :-*

(I don't think that's enough info for y'all, is it?  ::))

Well, i can't get the "Elevator flap" top look like the screeny.

Which brings me to my next question: (another one!  >:()

How do you change the way the faces are, well, facing? I can reverse them but i can't do it manually.

Thanks y'all!   :-X

to change the face direction select your face and press w only problem is it will be see through from the other side.so you could try  create/new face (f6) this way you will have a face on both sides handy for vehicles as when you get in you dont see through the side hope this helps

Hi SFG

Umm, I decided to make a house, but I got 2 questions.

1. When i start O2, it say "Unable to open external viewer"...what does this mean, and is it bad, and of course, how can i fix it??

Then the question that has something to do with this topic...

In ur building tutorial it says "Ok here we go.. First off open Oxygen and hit File>Inport>3D Studio", but when i do that, i have to open something, like when u are loading something in word, but i don't got anything to load :-\

- Go to File-Options and select the directory buldozer.exe is in.

- Then make something in Oxygen.. If you had a .3ds model you would use the inport function.

Garcia, et al:

If you are importing a .3DS file that you made yourself, you may need Anim8or, a free 3D app, just to help you convert it before it can be imported into O2.

I discovered, with the help of Kaliyuga, that my meshes made in Wings3D needed to be imported, then exported, by Anim8or before O2 could open them. The details are in the thread, "Anyone using Wings3D? I'd like to, but ... " in OFPEC's "Addon Editing: 3D Models" forum.

Hey guys, update. I reduced the filesize of all tutorials to about under 2meg. Some more compressed then others. I'm taking requests for future tutorials now, dont give me any "how to make an airplane". Best to use Brsseb's site for that. http://ofp.info/brsseb/ I'm looking for the "how to animate a door" ones. Smaller... you get the idea.

Anyways tell me what you think : http://www.brennt.com/sfg.html

I've spent hours and hours looking for an unit tutorial and... nothing. I've noticed that such request has already been made, but all I ask is HOW TO CONFIGURE AN INFANTRY UNIT MODEL?

Infantry models can be found at the 1st demo's Data3d.pbo... Almost every settings have been already defined. However, it seems not to be compatible with newer OFP versions... What shall we do?

Besides, how do those guys make p3D models with ODOL header?
With O2 you can only have the MDOL header, perfectly editable by oyher users... So, how can we edit the ODOL? Or even save in ODOL format?
Look at the p3D header to figure out what I'm talking about...

They binarize their addons.
So, how can we edit the ODOL?
If there are any people. The people who know wonÂ't tell you :-X So like me you have to wait until "THEY" will make a mistake and accidential reveal their secret. Maybe they were told by aliens about it and now "THEY" have to hide from the public or the Men in Black will come and get Â'em   8) :) ;) :D ;D
