I need one of these. it is an m1a1 with no turret, useto clear mines.
I was thinkin for in game it would just be an M1a1 with no weapons no turret and onlt a driver with like 500% the armor.

Although the use of mines in OFP is not  used on a large scale very often, the idea is not bad.

perhaps some talented addonmaker could even go all the way and create it with the anti mine rollers and perhaps even the teleoperation system. (like the commander giving the direction orders, but then from the outside and without the voice)

would be cool standing a hundred meters away steering the minesweeper along a suspected mined road.

i dunno man if ya had a ctf with armor mines work very well
just takes a long time to lay them

if ya make one of these make it so a mine doesnt roll it over my friends ran across this when they were working with a couple tanks once

oh I was thinking just to give it a huge armor protection so that it just blows up the mines.
all I need is the simple one just no turret 1 crew member (driver) no weapons and a huge armor protection.

If you gave it a large amount of armour, it would be much harder to destroy for any hostiles. Alternatively, you could heavily armour the front and underside of the tank, whilst the back, sides and top remain more vulnerable. I was also thinking about making an armoured car, that will be immobilised after detonating a mine, but will protect the human cargo within. Any ideas on how to achieve this would be welcome.   ;)

coul you make the mine-clearing attachment that fits on the ends of the tanks? and make it heavy and armored so it triggers the mines but doesnt kill the tank?

I'm fairly sure you can, or you could use a script simulating a tank pushing a trailer or mine detonator ahead.
