If you want to learn scripting from the experts look at snYpir's SP/MP support pack. Or anything by Vektorboson. Check out the functions section of the Ed Depot too, that stuff is more advanced but the folk who write functions generally know what they're doing and so you can look at their ordinary scripts. And don't forget Chain of Command (CoC) and the Enhanced Configuration Project (ECP).
