Multiple axis?
« on: 18 Apr 2003, 02:00:40 »
Does anybody know if i can make one rotating part(part1) move and rotate with another rotating part(part2) with the help of only the rotating animation!!!!!!

its like with a turret of a tank the turret itself rotates horizontaly and the commanders hatch rotates vertacly! the hatch can open but still rotates with the rest of the turret!!

sorry i cant explain it better :-[

Ah if this was only possible. Then we'd have some really fancy animation effects. Animals and articulated vehicles would be possible. It is wishful thinking that OFP2 will have this feature added. :)

damn, thats weird that a turret of a tank can have 2 axis (turret+Barrel) and a normal animation cant, like the commander hatch on the abrams! maybe that can be used in some way :-\
