Detecting if a unit is prone?
« on: 18 Nov 2003, 20:42:38 »
Is there a command that can detect if a unit is prone, standing, kneeling, and so forth?

I know that you can set a unit's posture with setunitpos, but how about getting his posture?

Unfortunately, there is no such command, and I don't think anyone has come up with a workaround. :-\

Why do you need to detect if a unit it prone?
Maybe you could do something like make the unit prone etc...?

As I wrote in my original post, I already know how to make a unit stay prone or standing.  I want to know if he is prone or not.  I don't want to make him go prone.

I have a script that I don't want to be activated if the unit is prone.

Hmmm not an easy one to work around. Damn. Sorry, tovarich - I've been thinking, but I'm all outta ideas.

I was considering perhaps a height trigger or something - but all units are considered from where their feet are (boot fetish!)

Sorry buddy
