Goldwave v5.0 Users?

I have been turned on the Goldwave's sound editing package for making editing and creating sound files. However, I only have the demo which is limited to 3000 actions.

I have been using Goldwave for a long time and when I last ran out of actions I simply un-installed it and deleted the folders from my program files folder. Then I re-installed it and it worked fine.

I recently ran out again but this time my previous method of renewal didn't work.

Does anyone know
a) How does Goldwave know that I've used all 3000 commands when I have deleted the files.

b) How can I get Goldwave working again without coughing up the $20 for the real version.
