You need to set up cfgmodels properly. Lots of references in the forum about it (use the seach command on cfgmodels).
Just remember to use the P3D name not the calssname.

ermm for guns you need

class Default {};
class Weapon: Default {};
class Nameofmodel: Weapon {};

so i guess you need to do the same for your vehicle....it must be the name of the p3d model in the final line....people usually muck this up, then wonder why the named selections dont work.
