I assume when you say collision detection you're talking about the Geometry LOD?

double-check that you didn't accidentially place parts of the geo LOD outside the 0.0000 LOD  :o

Trees are all fixed... and the pit type deal wouldn't have worked the way you were going about it ..

fixed it the way I would have done it, should work for all intents and purposes and still allows for the hole in the middle ...

if it didn't have the depression in the center then a standard geo LOD would have sufficed, but when doing convex hull on the object.. it kept wanting to fill the top over solid..

Geo LOD was left on pit object as it serves as fire geometry... ;)

BTW... I noticed that nothing was Tagged....   :-\

There is a very good likelyhood that others will make palmtrees and such, so I would suggest registering an Addon TAG here: http://www.ofpec.com/tags_register.php

or if you're building this for a  Mod... use their TAG

It goes a long way towards keeping things from clashing or overwriting one another ;)

Thanx Kaliyuga,
works a treat and now I have something tangible to work from (well sort of) tuts are good but they just lack that something.

Once again thanx heaps  ;D

Ok I have been over what you have done and honestly I can not see any difference as to what I have tried before
(not necessarily what ever was in P3D when I sent it)

I redid obj 2 because it still wasn't working 100%, only 1 way not the other.
Then put in game and nothing again.

 ??? Very puzzled

What you have to do to make the Geo LOD work properly  is  have everything
selected, go to  Structure> Topology> and hit  'Find components'

then go to Structure > Convexity  and select  Component Convex hull

then you should be able to save it and the Geo LOD should work in-game..

I tested by placing the trees on desert island and running into them with a Jeep ......

One of your trees is pretty bent and you may need to make a straighter Geo LOD for it to work properly
