Joining single units

How do I join the player to another single unit?
the join command only works if hes joining a group.

Using waypoints to join is pretty easy
just by using

"Join" and the "Join and lead" settings
then sync the waypoints together

but other than that I can't suggest anything

[unit] join grp1

because amazingly a single unit is still a group in ofp :D

so you just have to put
grp1 = group this
in the init field of that single soldier you want the player to join  ;)
