Well simoneldridge,

There are actually a variety of ways one can use Game Logic.

For one, you could use it in cutscenes (i.e. Have the camera face it without looking at a unit in particular).

Another is using the MoveInCargo/Driver/Gunner/Commander, if you want a unit to occupy a specific position.

That is all I can recall, but I am sure there are others.
I think another is having a unit fire at a Game Logic to simulate mortar/artillary/whatever fire.

I hope this helps.

GLs are a unit just like everything else, xept that it is invisible and doesn't do nothin without an order(won't even fall down to the ground if it's 50 meters above it without a script or something else) and some other stuff as well. You can use GLs for a lot. Camcreating shells, dialougs, occopying vehicles, set a move order with out a x, y and z coordinate, much more. What I've learnt about GL came quite natrually, I don't think you need to read a tute or anything.

Actually there is much more to gamelogics than meets the eye.   There are a couple of excellent threads, which I'm going to try and find .... hang on ....

Here we are, one thread from May.   Have a read of this.
