creating explosions

In my mission I want to create explosions, like in the mission "Hold Malden" in the cold war crisis campaign.
In this mission you have to defend a town from the Sovjets and suddenly they begin to bombarding you. It are explosions just like a regular handgrenade, but it isn't a handgrenade, I think it are scripted explosions.

My question is: How can I create such explosions, with version 1.0?

I'm not sure about if this works in 1.00
You should REALLY upgrade to 1.46 m8

The point is, get Resistance if you possibly can - it's well worth it.   If you can't do that but you can download, get the patches from the official site at www.flashpoint1985.com - that's worth it too.   (A d/l manager like Getright helps with these big d/ls.)   Version 1 had a lot of bugs and loads of stuff has been added and improved since then.

Camcreating shells works perfectly in 1.0, KnEr. Search the Ed Depot for arty scripts. Don't take one with singlemapclick or a menu that comes up, that's just for res.

And you should update to 1.46 at least.
