USGS DEM maps for TerraGen
« on: 06 Oct 2003, 17:21:02 »
Hi guys,

I have discovered a site where one can download free USGS DEM maps of the San Fransico Bay Area for use in TerraGen and thus map making.  :D

Go have a look at this site http://bard.wr.usgs.gov/

NIMA
National Image and Mapping agency

http://geoengine.nima.mil

only available in 30 arc-second post spacing of elevation data points, but  that's sufficient for an OFP map ;)

and you can get  terrain maps of anywhere on the planet ;)
