Lightning in scenes.
« on: 11 Oct 2003, 05:09:51 »
Giday all,
Is there anyway possible to call lightning with a script, as you can call and modify the rain. I was hoping to use lightning as a dramatic effect in a cutscene. So I need to be able to place and activate it were and when I want.
Thanks.

It's called a rain dance. Owa owa owaaaaa :hmm: No I sort of meant that you can adjust the rain(Dynamic Weather Script in the Editors Section of OFPEC) so the lightning might have a name so you could call it in a script. I'll just check the Comm Ref. Is that the right place to look? And if so is that the right names to use for that sort of thing??????

x setrain x

x setfog x

x setovercast x

those are the only weatherchanging commands that I know of

example:

30 setrain .8

this will  cause the rain to increase to  80% over a 30 second time span from when the script/trigger/waypoint is met .

all these commands use the same syntax

time command intensity
