Textures through rotor
« on: 08 Oct 2003, 21:50:25 »
Hi there...

I'm working on my first helicopter and (as always) I have problems with textures...I HATE TEXTURING!!!!

An example: I applied my textures to a door of the chopper but, when I look toward them through the main rotor they disappear  :'(...why?

How can I fix this thing? ???

Thx guyz!

I have the same prob, dunno how to fix it. Must be some visbility LOD issue I guess. I will post here if I find out more.

What sort of textures are you using, .pac or .paa?
If you're using .paa try selecting the rotor blur then cut it and paste it back in.

Yep as DeliltMon said if you are using paa then it will be a alpha channel - drawing order issue. Bascially what happens is that one alpha channel overwrites the other. Either do the cut and paste thing or play round with the "move to top" "move to bottom" functions to select the correct drawing order.
