Dynamic range sound pack
« on: 04 Oct 2003, 09:30:08 »
Have been searching for links to Satchels Dynamic range soundpack with the fix for default reticule...only link I found was closed long ago....also thought it might be a good idea for someone looking for a project to update the resistance version to include the new weapons (i.e.; Glock, the new HK's, etc...). This pack in my opinion adds alot of environment to missions and feels alot more realistic then the BIS sounds.

Would appreciate any help.

BAS's JAM adds new sounds to weapons, along with a lot more.

Once i was a big fan of the dynamic sound pack myself, until i discovered it produces big lags when a lot of units are in the field, especially in MP.

JAM might be a good alternative, but only for modern conflicts. WW2 and Nam fans (like me) have nuthin' ...  :P

Download the new blackhawks, it comes with that.  I also think the newer JAM comes with the OPFOR/Island Pack.  Look on the front page.

I've got a 56k, managed to download it in one night :o . If your modem isn't that fast, you can always use a download manager like Getright to do the download in multiple sessions (6 hours a night, for instance ;D ).
