USGS DEM maps for TerraGen

Hi guys,

I have discovered a site where one can download free USGS DEM maps of the San Fransico Bay Area for use in TerraGen and thus map making.

only available in 30 arc-second post spacing of elevation data points, but  that's sufficient for an OFP map

and you can get  terrain maps of anywhere on the planet

Are there any tutorials on using DEMs (in varying formats) to make maps? Ah, to see tanks crush my old school.....

 Hmm....  I'll start  a new topic on just how to get DEM's into Wrp format since I have just recently figured it out myself after about a week of trying
