event handlers ...

Do eventhandlers stop running once a unit is dead? or are they still running in the background unaccessable?

I am wondering if it is necessary to use removeeventhandler when the unit dies or will this automatically be done ... (i need as many reductions on lag as possible)

Should be easy to find out;

add an eventhandler "hit" to an AI unit, activating a hint
message: "huh - somebody has hit me"

setdammage 1 this guy

go there and shoot him

See wether the message shows up or not  ;)

ya well thats what i thought and i did try it ... the results were that the event stopped working once the unit was dead ... but what i was wondering was if the event was still technically running even if it didn't show that it was because the unit's variable dissolved since it was dead ... owell if anyone gets any proof that the events don't stop running plz email me at duckwilliamson@yahoo.com
-thx Chris for your input
