Action Scripts

I have a couple questions about some action scripts. I scanned through the action scripts you compiled but I didnt find the ones I am looking for. First do you know the script that makes a soldiar wave his hands around and make him look like he is talking? Second what is the script that makes someone point around on a table or map? It was on a movie. Last of all do you know how to make someone do pushups?
I couldnt find these anywhere and I want them to enhance my missions.

I see you are new to the forums

1: UnitName SwitchMove "EffectStandTalk" or "FXStandTalk"

2: UnitName SwitchMove "FXShowTable"

UnitName of course is the name you gave the unit.

Keep in mind that I recalled these from memory and I may have left something out, just remember that the unit(s) must be in 'Safe' or 'Careless' mode for these to work.

Anyway if you didn't know the syntax, why didn't you download a Command Reference?

Couldn't fully comprehend last bit: I don't think Sniper_Kyle is new and neither am I, if that is what you mean.

You can safely ignore most of what appears above (apart from the actual answer to your question of course) it's just part of the ritual.     We like newbies here and we do everything we can to help them out because - with the obvious exception of LCD,   who taught BIS most if not all of what they know -  we were alll newbies once.    And GrimMonkey and rhysduk, who you see a lot of around here and also both totally cool.

Anyway, my point is that if you have seen something in a mission you can always unpbo the mission to see how it was done and copy it if you want to.   (Just make sure that you always give credit where it is due, we don't stand for plagiarmism here).    You need Amalfi's unpbo 1.5 from the Tools section of the Editors Depotl   Even allows you to see the official missions/campaigns.

There is a full listing of switchmove/playmove animations in the Ed Depot, under tutorials - references.

I have teh Command Reference that comes with CHOFPSE (ED DEPOT) which fu***** rocks dude.... Thats is the one i mostly use but i occasionally use a BIS Official one ;D Just to be safe .... ;D
