Editing Resistance
« on: 26 Sep 2003, 22:39:32 »
I extracted the files from resistance.pbo in the Res/campaigns folder, and now whenever I try to edit the maps, they're completely blank. I'm working through the Multiplayer Screen, and the map seems to work just fine if I click OK instead of Edit. How can I edit them?

You need to put the files in your OFP/users/username/missions folder.

nada. Still completely blank even when I load edit it without going through the multiplayer stuff. I also tried doing a Merge, but that didn't go either.

You need to put em in seperate folders, not just one big one, have you done that?

Dunno what's wrong. Have you changed the text in the upper right corner from "easy" to "advanced"?

You need to use PBO Decryptor 1.5 (www.ofp.info), otherwise the files will be encrypted and you can't use them.

Amalfi's unpbo 1.5 is of course available from our very own Editors Depot.   Grab it here.     We are always on the lookout for new resources so if you know of something that you think we should host and don't, then contact toadlife who is in charge of the Ed Depot.

Armsty - I'm disappointed.   Aren't you at least curious to see what a BIS mission looks like?   Never mind what tiy can learn from them.

Macca. I read tutes, and if I see a thing in a mission that I want to copy or learn off, I DePBO it and it haven't come up yet with the BIS mission.

Ah yes, the younger generation ... in my day of course there weren't that many tutes, depbo was one  of the only way to learn.   And depboing was hard work, you had to open dos windows and things if I remember rightly.
