Skip Time feature
«

I noticed when i used the SkipTime feature that the time just changed and the units stayed where they where, so for them it is like not time chagned. Is there a way to change this? So that when i do a skip time the units move that time?
Ex: A sniper crawls out to a spot and a unit is 50m his left (going right, starting on patrol) he wates until dawn (skiptime) and the unit is then on his right (going left) returning from the patrol.

If i can remeber correctly skiptime only changes the game time. it doesnt make anything happen that would of happen3ed in normal time.
For what you want try using the
setAccTime
command. it's used and called like the skipTime so you should have no trouble

setacctime just speeds up the time and can cause lag if sped up too quickly. for what you want the best thing to do is use the skiptime command and at the same time use setpos to change unit positions and switch triggers to make the unit jump the WP order. This will give the impression that time has indeed passed and the unit is at a differnt stage of his patrol.

Ok, thank you guys. Anyone think of a way to have an opend ended way to have it so the sniper(or what ever) does not half to be at a wp?
Baby have it so that at dawn there is a new patrol that sets out as one comes back(with setpos, and skiptime)...
Ok, Thank you all for your help.
