M167 Vulcan (Towed)
« on: 09 Sep 2003, 23:34:05 »
We all know the M163 vulcan, 20mm gatling on an a M113 chassis.I'm surprised nobody has taken the gun/turret and mounted it on a two wheel trailer, the US army designation is the M167.When in the firing position the weapon sits on three outriggers to provide a more stable base.If this weapon could be carried under a blackhawk, or towed behind a truck in OFP that would provide some great firepower.I've seen pics of a protoype which also packs stinger missiles, four I think.

well i saw somewhere there was a hook under the chinook and it was moving with it and on BAS blackhawks and Chinooks they had a extra object carrying a car.

So it proply could be done. Just make a addon lookin like a trailer with a vulcan on it and there some scipt dont know where but it should work.I THINK

Someone made a nice WW2 German truck towing a small artillery piece, you could disconnect the gun then fire it, then tow it from the truck. It worked pretty well, I've also seen a small metallic looking trailer that could be towed behind a hummvee etc.So M167 shouldnt be to hard to make?
