DEM to .WRP work for "Lost Brothers" mod

I'll continue this thread, here, since there seems to be more DEM to .wrp expertise going on, here.

Problem is, DEM loads fine in Global Mapper trial version, but in Micro-DEM it comes out whacked.  About 3/5ths of the way across the DEM all the data appears to shift southward.

What's causing this?

And if anyone wants to join the Lost Brothers mod to help us with this, I'll be happy to buy the DEMs.  Just need an expert to get this data into a .wrp format (both for Visitor and for WRP-Edit, if necessary) that can be populated with objects.

Dont think microDEM exports strictly legal dem files.. I also have had trouble with the shifted terrain..

Try running it thru http://www.terrainmap.com/downloads/microdem_to_dem.ZIP

or if you have 3dsmax 4 get this http://www.habware.at/max4/dem2max4.zip free dem import
plugin.. then you can save the dem as a ASE file..

or just gimmie a mail adress and i mail you a present.. :-)

ps. have a look at this http://www.terrainmap.com/rm12.html#sinai
