helipads on ships
« on: 02 Sep 2003, 21:09:52 »
is there anyway to put a helipad on a ship?if so how? i tried making one but when i tried to land on it the ship's stern just got pushed down and the chopper fell off, but it is possible to hover over the helipad and drop people on to the ship with out any trouble.

also i can drive right through my ship is their anyway to stop this?

to answer both those question just add a roadway (in the lod options in o2) where you either want the men to walk or the helicopter to land........ for the helipad make it about 5mm thick like a box....... or even better get a custom box and shape it around the basic helipad.........
to prevent to drive right thorugh the model thats to do with the geometry LOD/fire geometry and that should be filled in correctly.........only build a basic model in comparrison to the actual model so ofp's engine gets the idea..... and call them componet 01 and so on......................
