“I have pictures for my mission” so what !?

I hope I have posted this question to the right place.


In submitting a mission there is a check as "I have pictures for my mission".

I couldn't get the point ! does it refer to the pictures shown during briefing / overview or pictures shown during the game? Or does it mean screenshots of the mission?

It seems the file submission system may still be a bit confusing even though we've probed it quite a bit some time ago.
Sad to say I don't know how soon we can get it to more 'user friendly' because our coders have disapeared.

Hey I clicked the link and checked your site ! it is cool to have one's own ofp site eh? it is a bit complicated at the first look yet cool again...

maybe birds who get ready are flying away the nest and making their own ofp sites... alas we are a good, powerful family here at ofpec...

honestly.. I don't know.

I'm hoping Anmac or somebody knows..

I see three possibilities,
1) We have a script that checks inside every .zip that the jpegs are of right format.. and size too maybe. I know there are php scripts like that, but I just don't know if we've implemented it or not.
2) The picture files are uploaded in the .zip and the reviewer checks that the size and format is valid.
3) The files are uploaded separately and the 'give us the names of your pictures' field binds them with the mission file, so that the right pictures go with the right missions.

Actually I'm pretty stunned that I don't know about the procedure. There's either a communicatio failure or I've just missed it.. Don't make any conclusions m'kay

I'm the new coder for the site Artak.

I will be working on a few things in the Missions depot which have bugged me for a long time (like mission sorting only working in IE browser) as soon as I finish reworking the Ed Depot.

I can also change the wording to the submission pages so that they are more explanatory, that is, if Anmac want's me to.

Just for the record...

It all works fine for me.

1. Upload mission and tick i have pic box to add screenshots.

2. Add thumbnail pic (100x100).  It tells you the required size if you don't send the right size.

3. Add larger pic (300x300)

4. Enter mission details

5. Enter addon details

6. Confirm details

7. Stress over the 2/10 you got.

Too easy.
