H&K G11 (4,73mm x 31 Caseless)

What about H&K`s new toy? It fires caseless munition with three fire modes: single, 3xburst and auto. This weapon has a recoiling system, which makes firing ...comfortable ;D. But anyway, in burst mode it fires 3 rounds with a speed of !2000 RPM. The recoil hits the soldier first after the third bullet left the barrel! . On auto it fires in a 430 RPM sustained mode with reduce recoil. Hey, 3-shots within a smal area and still fitting the realism requirements of OFPEC.

Anyway, I'm working on this one, but if somebody has allready posted this weapon somewhere, please tell me.
P.S. If somobody wants a (ugly) preview with some (ugly) textures, but good adjustemenst for recoil and so on, CONTACT ME!!!

The G11 is almost done...I'm doing some custom sights and testing them afterwards, the 3rd person model is 75% done, the 1st Person model...0%. Now I must...sleeeeeeep...................

I've tested the G11 from lostbrothers (thanks RP) but I don't think the physics (recoil and stuff) is accurate enough. Anyway, OFPEC hasn't got their G11, so, i caaaaaant be stoped!

the G11 was late 80s wasnt it like 88 or something but after communism fell they werent really the main focus...least thats what i heard

You're right man, the G11 is not really H&K's "new" toy, thats rather the GMG, but the G11 is still far ahead of its time, isn't it?

An this super handgun...I've heard about it, you can even choose between lethal and non lethal firemode, cool...would be a nice addon, allthough this one is supposed to be a lawenforcement weapon, isn't it?

How impractical can a pistol possibly be?!  Rate of fie never replaces accurate shooting;  three misses or non vital hits at 60,000 RPM means your just wasting ammo, and speaking of ammo, since the darned thing's bullets are prestored in the barells, have fun trying to reload quickly (hey Mr. Bad-Guy...Could you just hold on a minute while I replace my pistol's barell assembly...Ok...Just a minute more...Oh crap, now was that the non-lethal barell or the one on the bottom... :gunman:OWWW-hey no fair you just shot me in the groin!!!)

And the G11 was actually done in by the enormous cost of Re-unification with East Germany-it was originaly slated to be the Bundeswehr's new assault rifle, but the amunition proved too expensive after subsidizing the bankrupt former communists :'(

That man knows what he's telling. Thats good. You can find good reference at www.hkpro.com/g11.htm. I took my whole textures and even sound (they have some amazing videos of the G11 in action) from this site. The technical data is also good.
