is there a script that limites you're visibility when it heavily rains, something that runs with weather.sqs

Use the setFog command.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

I think there was a fire and storms add-on somewhere (possibly on this site.) But that had some excellent effects with fireflies and house fires, to snowy blizzards and storms with poor visibility. Have a look for that.  ;)

how about using setviewdistance? or is that just like any of the other suggestions?
