Just wanted to know how to make text appear while in-game on the screen.  Like, when you have a cutscene, and the cutscene has text displayed in fade in white...or fade out black...etc.....thx!

Not sure if this is what your asking for but....Add a trigger go to the effects option in the lower left corner. Under the effects menu go to the bottom and select text, type in what you want to appear on the screen, any additional effects and wala! Just place the trigger to be activated when you want the text to appear. Hope thats the answer your looking for. Good luck

The more scripty way of doing it is with commands like titletext. For instance:

titletext ["I'm Going Down!","plain down"]

"plain down" makes it appear at the bottom of the screen.    "plain" puts it in the middle.

You can use \n to make a new line.  (Or is it /n, I can never remember ...)

To make it fade in over a longer time (the default is 1 second) use another argument:-

titletext ["A mission by\n\nwicked13","plain",3]

titletext is what you should use when you want to show text on the screen.    titlecut is obsolete, although checking on some of my cutscene scripts it's what I still use for blackin/blackouts.     Come to think of it I'm not sure what you're supposed to use for blackouts.
