Controlling time and playmove civildead
« on: 13 Aug 2003, 05:13:59 »
I've got a sceen where one dude cold-cocks another. Dude 2 is knocked out. I would like to use Playmove Civildead because dude sometimes falls back. But it's got problems. Simetimes he falls forward. Sometimes he falls before the hit. Very inconsistant.
There is another move SWITCHMOVE FXStandSurDead, Very consistant, but he only falls forward. Is there a way to controll the falling direction when issuing a playmove civildead?

Also, I would like to do a John Wuo type camera movement. But it requires me to slow down time. I have found referances to settemeacc or timeacc but I can't get the value to work. Does anyone konw how to controll time?

(game time not the real thing... Though there could be some serious money in that...)

Ok, Checked out the setacctime. got it to work. I was using settimeacc. No go there. Thanks for directing me back to that download. I had downloaded it a while ago but didn't have IE6 until tonight. Now I can view it.

Anyway, About the other question. Anyone got any ideas on how to controll the direction of fall during a playmove or switchmove?

No.

But, if you give the unit a little nudge with setVelocity before you give the switchmove command, you never know.....
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
