disengage?
« on: 29 Jul 2003, 19:25:01 »
Is there any way to make so that soldiers wont engage even leader says so?
The tricky part is that they need to move and shoot if needs but not engage the enemy.

maybe this one works:

groupname setCombatMode "GREEN"

("green" is "never fire - defend only" as far as i know ...)

Thanks but that doesn't effect much (they still engage but dont shoot?). Besides it's the same thing you can set whit waypoints...

I've had this same problem before, but luckily someone told me the answer. Just say:

unit disableAI "TARGET"

The unit can still move and shoot on his own this way, but he can't run after targets.

Hope that's what you are looking for  :D

No, sorry. There is no way to re-enable the AI after you disable it.  :'(
